Born on July 7, 1965 and hails from Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. He was engaged into the services of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) on October 18, 2000 as an Assistant Chief Enterprise Officer (GL 13).

He obtained his first degree in Accounting from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1988. He later pursued and obtained a Master of Science in Economics from Enugu State University of Science and Technology in 2004. He is a certified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Public Private Partnership (PPP) Professional.

He has attended numerous trainings, workshops, conferences and other corporate events locally and internationally with reputable Organisations/Institutions.

He is an experienced Public Servant and Administrator with profound expertise in privitasation, commercialisation and PPP. He grew through the ranks and reached the pinnacle of his career as a public servant on GL 17 (Director) on February 6, 2020. He was the Director, Infrastructure & Public Private Partnership Department from February 2020 to May 2022. He is currently the Director, Energy Sector Department since June 2022.

He has and is still serving as Chair/Member of various Boards of Privatised Enterprises, Committees and Teams within and outside the Bureau.

Prior to his engagement with the Bureau, he was Personal Assistant to Commissioner of Justice & Attorney General of Ebonyi State (1999 – 2000)                                                                                                                                                                                                         General Manager Finance, Benoville Nig.
