penetration<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Low Productivity<\/strong>: Average cereal yields were 40-60% below global benchmarks due to limited technology adoption<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>High Post-Harvest Losses<\/strong>: Estimated at 40-50% due to poor harvesting and processing equipment<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Limited Private Sector Participation<\/strong>: Minimal investment in mechanisation services and agro-processing<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nThe Federal Government recognised that transforming agriculture through mechanisation was critical to achieving food security, job creation, and
