The Bureau\u2019s attention has been drawn to a\u00a0Premium Times<\/i>\u00a0publication of Tuesday, 23rd<\/sup>\u00a0April, 2019 with the headline:\u00a0ALSCON: Court threatens to jail BPE DG<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although we believe that the\u00a0Premium Times<\/i>\u00a0publication falls far short of accepted standards of balanced and responsible journalism, we shall refrain from making detailed comments here since the issues erroneously reported in the article are pending before a competent Court of law and as such are\u00a0subjudice<\/i>. The Bureau will respect the authority of the courts and not litigate on the pages of newspapers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
