Director of Department of Infrastructure & Public-Private Partnership (I&PPP) of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE).
Sule, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters Degree in Economics from the Bayero University Kano. He had lectured at the same university between 1992 and 1996 where he taught Economics, Banking and Finance at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Thereafter, Sule joined Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria where he worked for 5 years (i.e., from 1996-2001). At the bank, he was involved in the mobilisation and marketing of the National Housing Fund Scheme, and supervised the accounts of primary mortgage institutions registered by the apex mortgage bank.
He had served as Director on the Boards of several privatised companies on behalf of the Federal Government, including Nigerdock Nigeria Plc, Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN), Nigeria Telecommunications Plc (NITEL) and Nigerian Mobile Telephone Limited (MTEL), Kano Electricity Distribution Company Plc (KEDCO). He currently serves as Director on the Boards of Benin Electricity Company Plc (BEDC) and Nicon Insurance Company Plc.
He also headed the International Development Association Credit Accounts Unit of the BPE that administered the World Bank’s Privatisation Support Project (PSP) account during a period before the programme ended in 2009. In addition, he led several teams that carried out evaluations of proposals for the procurement of advisers and investors. Similarly, he played vital roles in several publications of the Bureau including Annual Reports, Status Reports and Procedures Manual.
